There is a misconception that selling your home over the holidays is not a good idea.  However, when you sell your home during the holidays, you will face less competition, serious buyers are still looking, and your home may even sell more quickly. The holidays are also the perfect time of year to create a warm, cozy, and inviting home.

Anyone looking at homes during the holidays most likely has a reason to do so and is probably motivated to buy a home.  There are always people looking to move for many reasons and they can’t always time their move – such as relocating for a job, investors on tax deadlines, couples who are divorcing, etc.  


4. Don’t Forget About Curb Appeal


When selling your home during the colder winter months sprucing up the exterior of your home becomes even more important as the trees are bare and you no longer have vibrant landscaping in the yard.  So spend some time cleaning up your yard and home exterior.  Add some holiday colour and cheer to your front door and porch.
